Ethan + Kylee | Spring 2022
Dearest friends, I wish you could hear my squeals & see me light up when I talk about these two because my heart is FULL! AHHH! Goodness gracious, where to begin. Ethan has been a steadfast friend of mine since 6th grade. Circling each others life for more than 10 years, you can imagine my excitement when he brought sweet Kylee into the picture. Kylee is the perfect puzzle piece in Ethan’s heart and vis versa. She encourages him and brings so much light and gentleness into his life. Watching Ethan grow in deep love with this girl has been a blessing to watch.
Three months ago Ethan told me their Spring photos would end with a surprise proposal! They snuggled, laughed, and danced under the limbs of the dogwoods, all the while Kylee became more & more aware of what was potentially planned. Ethan knew she was expecting a proposal so he asked if we could do it at the very end to throw her off. After “finishing” their session I asked Kylee to model a bit for me which gave Ethan the perfect chance to get down on one knee without her knowing. Dusk ushered in warm pink & yellow tones. He asked her to be his wife in the same place they had their first date. That willow tree in Loose Park is now Ethan and Kylee’s! I am so honored to capture these moments, I hope you enjoy them too.
